Bambuser
Video commerce platform
overview
Bambuser is a video commerce platform enabling brands to embed live shopping, video consultation, and interactive chat directly into their digital storefronts. The platform sits at the intersection of content and transaction, allowing brands to combine storytelling, interaction, and purchasing within a single experience. The work was developed during my time at Framna, in collaboration with Bambuser’s product and design teams.
challenge
Video commerce introduces structural tension. Media tools prioritize storytelling but often lack transactional depth, while traditional e-commerce tools focus on conversion but lack narrative engagement. The challenge was to design a system that could unify live streaming, on-demand video, chat, consultation, and product purchasing into a coherent product experience. This required aligning interaction patterns across multiple touchpoints while supporting brands with flexible tools that could adapt to different commerce strategies.
Role
I led the design competence within the project while working at Framna, collaborating closely with Bambuser’s product, engineering, and design teams. My work focused on exploring and validating new product concepts, shaping interaction models for live commerce experiences, and contributing to the evolution of the platform’s design foundations. This included prototyping features, testing workflows, and helping translate strategic ideas into product directions that could scale across the platform.
